Job Description
Innovation Love, a company of startup innovators (the same team that created Sulit.com.ph (OLX.ph) and Property24.com.ph), has a new venture and is currently looking to form its core technology team. The new venture is targeting a lucrative and growing industry in the market today.
The new project is using an in-house framework that is the foundation of all projects created by Innovation Love. Based on modern technologies, this framework allows our team to implement business requirements fast, do active iterations based on user feedback, and create cross-platform applications using Javascript.
In this regard, we are looking for an experienced Frontend Designer who will be responsible for building solutions to user’s problems through interface design
Responsiblities
As a Frontend Designer, your main responsibilities are as follows:
- Taking charge of prototyping phases, ranging from conceptual ideas to development-ready pages
- Design user interfaces and convert them to code
- Partner with developers to execute designs
- Communicate design decisions to the team
- Collaborate with the product team on how to solve user problems
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have the following relevant qualifications:
- Proficiency in communicating design decisions and the thought process behind each design
- Proficiency in using design tools such as (but not limited to): Photoshop, Sketch, and/or Figma
- Proficiency in building responsive HTML/CSS
- Knowledge in coding frontend experiences using Javascript
Plus points qualifications are:
- Possess a visual portfolio that showcases previous work and communicates your role in each project
- Knowledge of design systems and frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Knowledge of CSS Preprocessors such as LESS or SASS
- Knowledge of Frontend frameworks such as React
- Knowledge of the UX (User Experience) research workflow
